1968 Sept De La Rue phosphor band trial, three different colours - grey, turquoise blue & rose pink, each with two designs:- larger head of 18th Century gentleman in half tone & smaller in full tone set of 6 in superb UM blocks of four imperforate. These trials are believed to be the FIRST SUCCESSFUL PHOSPHOR PRINTING BY D.L.R. The phosphor bands are printed by Letterpress using a rubber stereo. RARE GROUP. £400.00 N/S
