1912 Imperial Union (1d) yellow green U (1d) dull orange each is a M - BLOCK OF FOUR. Usual irregular perfs & stained corner perf on the yellow green block, generally fresh & fine. Very scarce, blocks rarely offered. (8) Printed in anticipation of the success of the Home Rule Bill of 1912, when P.M. Asquith declared that Ireland should have its own, seperate postal system. This is a speciulative issue iattributed to Mr W Ward prepared in two colours 'to avoid political bias' Printed in Manchester £150 to 200 £250.00
