1989 500th Anniv Gold Proof half sovereign, S4277. £200 to 300 £210.00
1981 Trial piece for an intended 25 pence denomination, seven-sided, weighing 5.6g. Obverse: ROYAL MINT TRIAL with central orb; Rev: EXPERIMENTAL COIN 1981 with Royal Mint Arms crowned. In the style of the 20p coin adopted the following year, this is an excessively rare pattern of which very few examples are known outside the Royal Mint Collection. Mint state. £350 to 500 £460.00
