Plaque & War Medal - Plaque to Joseph Gordon Barrett - this is almost black in appearance. BWM named to 2 Lieut J.G. Barrett. This recipient is also entitled to a Military Cross (not included). He earned this award serving with the N. Lancs Fus. 'When in charge of a raiding party, he was the 1st to enter the enemy trench, he killed & captured another of the enemy.
