Group of four - Plaque to Bertram Frederick Kerley. Trio 1914/15 Star, BWM & Victory, 1914/15 Star named to 14314 Cpl. B. Kerley South wales Borderers. BWM & Victory to 2 Lieut. B. F. Kerley. He died serving with the 6th Btn, the S.W.B K.I.A 10th Sept 1917 aged 22. He was from Winchester. Plaque a nice dark brown patina. Medals NEF.

He died 3th Oct 1918 in Egypt A/C.S.M R.A.S.C. He was from Blackheath and served with the Camel Transport Coy. Buried Kantara War Memorial Cemetery. He was M.I.D L.G 14.06.18 pg7055, NEF.

Plaque & War Medal - Plaque to Joseph Gordon Barrett - this is almost black in appearance. BWM named to 2 Lieut J.G. Barrett. This recipient is also entitled to a Military Cross (not included). He earned this award serving with the N. Lancs Fus. 'When in charge of a raiding party, he was the 1st to enter the enemy trench, he killed & captured another of the enemy. It was due to his dash that the raid was a success' (photo included).
