An interesting brass pill box (27mm x 10mm) circa 1850 inscribed 'The Queen, Prince Albert & Britain's Hope' on lid with 'shield sovereign' motif on base, containing 3x9mm white metal medalets, celebrating 'England's Pride,' 'Britain's Hope' & 'Europe's Glory' respectively with busts of Albert & the Queen plus the young Prince of Wales. Probably once used as play things, thus showing some marks accordingly. £25 to 50 £52.00
