1863-1990 mainly M collection in 3 spring back albums, a few 1863 QV early issues U, then 1890-93 key plates (few with faults & excl. from valuation) & good coverage of surcharge to 1902 (both dies) incl. 1902 30c on 75c & 80c on 1r with narrow 'o' variety M, KEVII & KGV defins approx complete incl. some shades & varieties M, KGVI incl. 1938 defin set complete on chalky & ordinary paper, then large part complete coverage to 1990 incl. many M/Sheets & few covers. Final album contains M issues of B.I.O.T & Outer Islands - issues to 1989. (1004 + 42 m/s, 17 covers) ST.Cat. £3900+ £500 to 600 £640.00
1893 12c on 16c chestnut & blue variety inverted surcharge unused from the original ovpt on plate 1, the stamps which when discovered were defaced by a red bar, this bar has subsequently been removed leaving rubbing to the front surface of the stamp. BPA Cert.1948. HV Farmer in his handbook page 14 states that the stamps in perfect condition are from clandestine printing SG.16a, this is the correct catalogued stamp. £100 to 120 N/S
1893 15c on 16c Die II variety surcharge double, the impression are ¼mm apart, FU c.d.s. & lovely fresh deep colour, SG. 19b. 1975 Robson Lowe Cert. Cat. £750 £250 to 300 N/S

1912 12c blue registered postal stationery envelope 'H' size (202 x 127mm) additionally franked by 1917-22 12c grey (2) & used to USA in 1919 with fine strikes of Victoria Seychelles c.d.s. (SP 19.19) & Cincinnati back stamps. Minor faults but attractive & rare. (NB the lower stamp was originally affixed to the right of the upper stamp but was transferred to its present position before posting, otherwise it would have been largely obscured by the flap). (1) £100 to 135 N/S

Covers incl. 1915 E (toning) registered to USA with 3c (5) & 12c stamps, fine unused example of the scarce provisional 3c on 4c 'LOCAL' postcard, 1938 GB air cover with fine boxed 'Return to Sender' of Seychelles etc. (5) £50 to 60 £62.00
