Collection in album with useful range of all states incl. NSW 1850-51 3d View, 1851-55 2d Laureate, also 3d (2), later vals to 5s. Queensland many Chalons values to 1s & 2s, large high values with 2/6d, 5s, 10s etc. South Australia 1856-70 incl. 1s orange, 1s brown (2), 1s yellow, later vals to 2s (5), tall high values to 2/6d (4). Tasmania few Chalons etc. Victoria with vals to 5s (2). Western Australia Swan issues for all periods. Good lot, all used. (many 100's) £100 to 120 £280.00
Circa 1890-1912 mainly U collection in 'Sydney Philatelic' dedicated ring album with slip case covering all six States. Condition of early material is variable & imperfs. without full margins are excluded from the valuation. All stamps identified by the vendor & not checked by us. Useful items noted incl. NSW 1854 6d (2 shades) & 1s & 1888 issue with values to 20s; Queensland 1882 2s, 2/6d, 5s, 10s (? fiscal use) & £1; South Australia 1902-04 with values to 5s; Tasmania 1892 Key Plate set to 10s & Victoria 'Stamp Duty' issue to £1 & fair four margin example of 1855 6d 'Too Late' (SG. 33). Good coverage & substantially complete from the 1960's & condition is fine throughout. Also included, one sheet of flaws on various commem stamps plus the set of the 'Australian Bicentennial Collection - Australian Heritage in Stamps' in presentation sleeve binder. In addition, an accumulation of various covers incl. some earlier, postcards, postal stationery envelopes, souvenir covers, letters with contents to Denmark, interesting pmks etc, 'PARRAPEX' 1980 souvenir sheet - 1914 stamps prepared for use but not issued and National Stamp Week 1980 amongst others.
