1840 Two Pence Blue Pl. 1 HB-HC horizontal pair on 1843 (6 July) wrapper addressed to Rotherham & redirected to Warrington, close to very large margins & cancelled by the small centre Maltese Cross in black, alongside pair of 1841 2d Pl. 3 QJ-QK (mixed margins) tied by indistinct Maltese Cross in black with Rotherham (7.7 & 8.7) c.d.s. alongside. Reverse with Edinburgh despatch & Warrington arrival c.d.s. Filing crease & some soiling. An extremely rare combination. £2500 to 3000 N/S

Plate 1 KB-LC (LC double letter C), block of four, close or touched a lower left but good to large margins other sides, KC showing a trace of the adjoining stamp at top, oily red MC cancellations, creases but nevertheless an attractive & rare block. £2500 to 3500 N/S
