PRE STAMP TO QV COVERS 1803-75 covers/fronts incl. 1803 EL with red 'DROGHEDA' & Dublin 'POST/PAID/D' in circle, mileages, 1839 front with rare red boxed 'ENNISKERRY/TWO PENNY POST,' 1826 E with red Dublin oval framed 'T.OFF/POSTAGE to DUBLIN/NOT PAID' (posted on the first day of the new assimilated postal rates, charged 1/6 and then 1/5 as the rates had changed), 1834 EL with faint Dublin Ship Letter d/stamp & h/stamp 'dl' (Exempt Ship Letter ex. Belfast), 1823 E with mainly fine 'BRITAIN ST/PENNY POST' & very fine h/stamp '1', 27 Oct 1840 EL (interesting contents ref. marketing a medicine) with 1d black (pl.7?), tied by red Dublin MX, 1857 1d red env with blue 'RAHARNEY' on front, 1866 env to Kinsale with Mauritius 4d + 6d & very fine red h/stamp 5½d Accountancy mark.
