19th/20thC Boer War collection, covers with various PASSED PRESS CENSOR marks, reg. envelopes incl. 1902 A.P.O Volksrust, Klerksdorp, Graffreinet & Harrismith, another to Craddock C.G.H, censored PRETORIA, reverse MIDLAND T.P.O. 1 and scarce NMGONNET, T.P.O marks, 1901 1d cover WORCESTER C.G.H to P.O.W Ceylon, fine oval DIYAYALAWA CAMP - PASSED CENSOR - group (5) with correspondence from War Front - F.P.I 49 (Wakkerstroom) or 1901 DE-AAR-C.G.H, much historical detail - OVERT various anti-British PPC's printed address to President Kruger - later held in S.A museum, various periodicals, mainly WITH THE FLAG TO PRETORIA (6) and Literature - Thomas Pakenharns Boer War paperback, also Mafeking Siege stamps SG.1, 8, 10, 11, one has trimmed perfs at top. SOUTH AFRICA/CAPE OF GOOD HOPE 1910 - circa 2001 accumulation of M & U plus a small range of 1885-1902 Cape of Good Hope on album pages. COGH incl. 8 triangulars (all with faults & not incl). Also 1864-93 range of seated 'Hope' with values to 5s plus 1902 KEVII set to 5s (U except for 2½d). South Africa incl. 1913 to 10s U, then broad range of issues to 1954 with many useful bi-lingual pairs and covering both War Effort issues. Many complete sets noted from 1954-2001. Needs sorting & remounting but has potential for further development. (few 100 + 19 M/S, 3 FDC) £200 to 250 £200.00
