1854-57 Wmk Small Crown 1d Die II, Pl.4 AA Imprimatur in deep red-brown, from the upper left corner of the sheet with plate number and part inscription, good margins and showing very light blueing of the paper, the impression slightly under inked at left. (1) £600 to 700 N/S

1854-57 Wmk Small Crown 1d Pl. 202 AL Imprimatur in dark red-brown from the upper right corner with Plate number and part inscription, close to good margins, showing slight blueing of the paper. £400 to 500 N/S

1854-57 Wmk Small Crown 1d Pl.188 AA Imprimatur in a deep red-brown shade from the upper left corner of the sheet with Plate number and part inscription, good margins, blued paper showing Ivory Head, some marking on the face where the ink has not taken properly and thinning in the lower left margin. 1850 Wmk Small Crown P.16 by Henry Archer 1d red brown Pl.96 NJ-QL block of twelve on slightly blued paper, unused with large part gum which has been disturbed, some hinge reinforcement at right, quite well centred, a remarkable multiple. 1854-57 Small Crown P.16, 2d Pl.4 AF - second state, fine M, some creasing and centred low, SG.19. (1) £500 to 600 N/S

1857 cover franked 1d Stars, tied by barred oval numeral '19' and also tied by fine upright strike of 'Newport Pagnel' c.d.s. Most attractive. (1) £200 to 220 N/S

1855 Small Crown P.14, 2d blue Pl.4 NI (M, re-gummed), rare stamp with a couple of tiny imperfections at bottom but a very presentable example - missing from the majority of collections, SG.23. (1) £450 to 600 N/S
