1850 Nov 15th registered cover from Cheltenham to Edinburgh with 8d fee paid by strip of three 2d blues & two 1d reds (filing crease through both), 2d strip cut into along the base, tied barred oval numeral '177' numerals for Cheltenham. Clean & attractive cover. £60 to 75 £60.00

1848 envelope from Sandbach to Ohio, USA, franked 1841 2d Pl.3 AG/AL strip of six, good to huge margins right side & at base cut into along top & right side, tied barred oval '687' numerals for Sandbach with despatch c.d.s. for Jy. 6 on reverse along with London transit for Jy. 7, obverse bears large red 'New York/SHIP/34 cents' circular h/stamp.
