1858-70 2d plates mostly two of each incl. Pl.12, 1870 ½d with most plates represented (excl. 9) incl. a few pairs & Pl.10 pair on cover, 1870 1½d Pl.1 & 3 U etc. (31 + cover) £45 to 65 £45.00

Block larger than four or stamp booklet
1870 ½d rose-red AG-JL Pl.13, an attractive looking block of sixty unusually well centred but has some adhesion of tissue paper on reverse (affects approx third of the block) not detracting from the appearance. SG.48, Cat. £8250 £800 to 1000 £800.00
1870 ½d rose-red Pl.11 & Pl.20 both in horizontal pairs o.g, the latter is marginal & showing part inscription, also Pl.19 optd SPECIMEN o.g. & a selection of unused or o.g examples (10). Condition a little mixed, SG.48. (15) £60 to 80 £82.00
1870 1½d rose-red Pl.1 (11), good to FU examples, generally lightly cancelled plus unused example, also Pl.3 o.g. (gum creasing), SG.51/2. £80 to 100 £100.00
